HOUSE RULES.

I run on AEST/AEDT. Wondering what that is? That's Nemo's timezone.

Please provide caps unless otherwise stated under forms. Provide high quality (HQ) caps in a downloadable folder (Google Drive, Imgur, Dropbox, Mediafire, etc.) and ensure these caps are of a large size.

If you are saving from a gallery, the cap needs to take up more than half your screen size. If the preview does not open into a bigger size, there is a very good chance the cap is too small. Small caps mean you get less variety in crops. If you're unsure your caps are of a workable size, pm me!

I like to work on a first come, first serve basis. Placeholders are not available unless otherwise stated under forms.

I will icon: Live action tv and movies, comics, animated tv shows, anime, video games and greyscale (WandaVision has converted me).

I will not icon: Fanart, black and white manga, Tumblr edited images, and images that are only lined out. Please avoid saving images from Tumblr. 99% of the time these are always edited. Rule of thumb: images need texture and colour in them.

I will icon but am iffy on iconning: I don't like doing photoshoots or promo stills as these are often already edited. The icons within a set won't look the same if they have a mix of screencaps, promo stills and photoshoots.

I do not offer colouring services. I'm not that talented but thanks for thinking of me!

I would appreciate people touching base about spoilers for live action film and television shows. Spoilers for anime, cartoons, comics, and video games are A-OK.

All commissions will not be posted publicly and will be pmed to the requester. Please ensure you accept pms from non-friends and please make sure you check your inbox for your icons! I'll only ever use icons from commissions as samples.

Requests of 15 icons maximum are free. I will do 5-15 icons.

Caps must be selected and provided to secure your spot. You can provide up to 20 caps maximum if you're worried about a cap possibly proving difficult; however, it remains at my discretion if I icon more than 15.

I will not be searching through galleries or zips that have 15+ caps, so please weed out all the extras!

I will not be providing samples for approval for requests. Revisions will not be available for requests.

I will send you your requested icons file via a comment reply. If you'd prefer to have these pmed, please let me know!

You may only request one character to be iconned.

Plurk icons are not available for requests.

I will not be offering comic panel clean-ups (i.e. removing speech and bubbles) for requests.

Turnaround times are pretty quick for requests. I don't make icons on Friday or the weekends.

For fairness, please do not request from me if you are also commissioning me.

General Commission Pricing.

This pricing is for 99% of most commissions—these commission do not require a comic panel clean-up. These sets will cost $0.10 USD per icon or 1 Dreamwidth point per icon.

I've provided a tier of quotes below, but you are more than welcome to order a set of icons that sits outside of the amounts listed below (that exist between 30 and 150 icons).

Comic Panel Clean-up Pricing.

This pricing applies to icon sets where you request that I remove text from speech bubbles or the speech and the bubble from the icon wherever possible. This will be charged against the different pricing tier of $0.20USD per icon or 2 Dreamwidth points per icon as it requires more work and manipulation on my part.

The pricing does not apply to per edited icon; it is the overall charge for the commission, no matter how many icons require clean-up edits. Editing out text and manipulating any caps to remove the actual speech bubble takes time, which is what this cost has taken into account.

I have provided a quote tier below as an example of potential pricing:

Gathering Caps for a Commission Pricing.

Limited spots are available at any given time for me to gather caps rather than having you provide them for me.

For a commission between 30 and 150 icons, the base pricing costs $0.10USD or 1 Dreamwidth point per icon, with an additional $1.50USD or 15 Dreamwidth points to cover gathering caps.

This does not apply to comics.

Please give me a picture for reference and specify films within a franchise or episode numbers. (This will help me if I'm not familiar with the content.) Please tell me what films in a franchise you want caps from, and what episodes you want caps from. If you give me ten episodes, there's no guarantee I will get caps from all ten episodes—once I hit how many caps I need fo your commission, that's it. (If you're going to be picky about what scenes you get, then please gather these yourself.)

Gathering caps increases the expected turnaround from 3 business days to 5 business days. I'm trialling this so the turnaround time is very up in the air right now.

Please take a look and see if you can gather this yourself, as this will guarantee you get the scenes and expressions you want. I will not be offering cap swaps, so what I pick is what you get!

I'll only offer this if free public galleries are available.

Capping Content for a Commission Pricing.

Limited spots are available at any given time for me to cap content to make icons.

For a commission between 30 and 150 icons, the base pricing costs $0.10USD or 1 Dreamwidth point per icon, with an additional $10USD or 100 Dreamwidth points to cover the process of obtaining content and capping. This takes significant time and space!

I will cap content for film and television only. I will not cap YouTube or games. (Sorry, this is beyond my capability, and YouTube sometimes gives crummy quality since it's not the original video. I don't play video games, so I will not buy games I'll never play to cap them.)

Please give me a picture for reference and specify films within a franchise or episode numbers. (This will help me if I'm unfamiliar with the content.) Please give me a maximum of five episodes. I'll ask for additional caps if I haven't collected enough.

Capping content increases the turnaround time by at least a week so that the turnaround time will be roughly two weeks. I'm trialling this, so the turnaround time is very up in the air right now.

Please look and see if you can gather caps yourself, as this will guarantee you get the scenes and expressions you want. I will not be offering cap swaps, so what I pick is what you get!

Requesting a Plurk Icon.

The one Plurk icon is free to commissioned sets only. Please make sure you mark your file with "_PLURK" and that this file is a part of your commission and not separate from it. (I'm not taking 150 icons with an additional cap for Plurk.)

COMMISSION PROCESS.

This is not available right now.

No placeholders/reserves will be taken. It's first come, first serve.

Comment below with your caps to book your spot. I won't be accepting requests via pm or Plurk.

One set per person per round. If you want to request two sets of 150, please wait until your first set is done out of fairness for other requesters.

All caps must be sorted and provided. You may provide a maximum of 5 additional caps if you're worried one is shit.

Please let me know if you have additional caps on hand in the instance I feel I can't get a good icon out of the caps provided.

No cap swapping. If you're desperate, pm me.

Payment is to occur at the final round of approvals. Once I complete your commission, you can send me Dreamwidth points or pay via PayPal or Stripe.

I will not be sending icon sets to requesters until I have received payment.

Samples will be shared for approval. If you want a particular cap iconned first, I'm happy to accommodate this. I will do my thing where I show you a before/after so you can see how I've manipulated the original cap.

I will revise samples up to a maximum of two times.

Please note that I will not continue creating a set without confirmation that you want to proceed.

Once your commission is completed, I will give you a final preview and confirm the number of icons and price. Payment is to occur at this stage.

My turnaround time is three business days upon approval of the samples. This is quoted on a 150 icon commission set. This is subject to my offline availability; I aim only to take a maximum of five days to complete a 150 icon commission. If I cannot get you your icons within 24 hours of the ETA, I will communicate with you when I think I can.

I don't make icons on Friday and the weekend.

You may split your icon commission between a maximum of two characters. Please brief me on which characters you want so that I don't question whether you meant to include a Grogu cap with your caps of Luke Skywalker. If you do not do this, then I will not make the icons of the character who was not briefed in.

Please group Character A's caps together and separate from Character B. Please provide a minimum of 15 caps per character.

The best way to do this is to create two folders within your zip, with one folder labelled Character A with Character A's caps, and another folder labelled Character B with Character B's caps.

When caps are interspersed through the folder, it greatly affects my turnaround time and colouring consistency as I work from the top of the folder to the bottom and do not search through zips for caps that are interspersed within the group.

This will also greatly assist me if I'm not familiar with the characters requested.

I will accept crop requests regarding any caps that contain more than one person, which will remain at my discretion to follow depending on how the cap works with the crop.

If you wish to have an icon featuring two characters, please indicate it in the file's naming convention with an instruction like "_BOTH" i.e. "DC3890_BOTH". (Imgur will erase this so please give me the file name as Imgur's naming convention.)

If you're super desperate for one cap to be cropped a particular way, then leave a note in your comment (including the cap's file name) and I'll see what I can do.

If you want a Plurk icon, this cap must already be included in your commission set. Please label the file name "_PLURK" like "ANNABETH290_PLURK". (Imgur will erase this so please give me the file name as Imgur's naming convention.)

If you find any icons unusable, I will redo a maximum of 15. 15 icons is 10% of the largest icon set I offer (150) and will be applicable across all sets, unless the set is 50 or under, then it will be at my discretion. I will only revise them once.

Please provide me with the file name and how you want it remade. It'll be at my discretion if the revision request can be made—some caps are just shit to work with, regardless of what I do.

Revisions must be based on the initial caps provided; I will not complete revisions on any new caps.

I will send the icon zip to you via pm, so please make sure you can accept pms! If you use multiple accounts to correspond with me, I will pm the account used in the last response.

I've been doing this for a long time and have many experiences, not all of them great. My terms and conditions ensure that both of us have a good experience with a commission.

TOS

When you commission me, you are accepting the following:

Given the number of orders in my queue, you may not receive your icons for several weeks from the date the order was submitted.

I reserve the right, at any time, to cancel a commission order or a commission queue for any reason.

↳ If I am in the middle of an approved job, I will work with the requester to either deliver the commission as it's currently produced (10%, 20%, 30% etc. completed) or complete the job, depending on the circumstances.

I reserve the right to refuse to do any revision requests at any time during the process for any reason, from the sample stage to after I have initially completed the commissioned set.

↳ If the revisions are due to a zip file being changed and re-provided and a cap being missed, I reserve the right to refuse to complete the revision request.

↳ In conjunction with this, I reserve the right to not fulfil any or all revision requests. I only fulfil revision requests that produce a quality icon that I am proud of as an icon maker, therefore, some requests will not work as the requester may wish.

↳ If I cannot fulfil a revision request for whatever reason (i.e. the original cap does not allow for the requested crop or positioning), I am not obligated to replace the icon with a new one.

The requester will credit my icons when using them. This also includes any Plurk icons made.

The requester will not edit my icons nor claim them as their own. This also includes any Plurk icons made.

The requester has the right to cancel the commission order at any time prior to the first sample being approved. Once the first sample is approved, the requester cannot cancel the commissioned request and payment will be required to complete the work for the full commission set requested.

If the requester does not reply and confirm approval or disapproval of the final sample after five days (including the weekend), the commission will be considered forfeited. I reserve the right to replace this commission with another or remove it entirely from my queue without replacing it with another request. I understand Dreamwidth notifications are botched, however, it is not fair for me to have a commission request linger unfinished for several weeks.

If a commission is approved but payment is not made after seven days, the requester loses the rights of owning and exclusively using the icons made. I will post the icon set publicly for public use.

I will not be providing refunds. Please be aware that payment applies to the work after the first sample has been approved.

I will not send anyone any commission sets unless they are the original requester. If the original requester is fine with the set being used by someone else, it is up to the requester to provide the set to other users. I will not provide sets to anyone who is not the original requester, even if they have obtained the requester's permission to contact me.

↳ If you are the original requester and have lost your icon set at any point after I have completed the work, please get in touch with me as I keep all of my commission sets. I am happy to send them to you again! There was a period where I didn't label the icon folders with the requester's username, so please let me know the character and approximately the quantity of icons you commissioned/requested.

All communication regarding individual requests and commissions will take place on this page; icon sets will be pmed to the requester. It's at my discretion if it moves to Dreamwidth pm, Plurk pm or Discord pm.

If you donate more than the stated price amount, then that is of your own accord. I will not be making the number of icons that the total donation amount equates to nor will I provide you with the difference.

It will be at your discretion if you provide me with a tip. I will not be making any additional icons to accommodate tips. I will not provide the difference.

I reserve the right at any time to change my terms of service (including any part of my process as explained on this page) for any reason for the service that I provide.

OTHER STUFF.

I am trialling Stripe, so please let me know how your experience is if you opt to pay via Stripe! If it's shit, then I'll be looking into an alternative to PayPal.

Commissioned me before and lost your icon set? Let me know the character, the quantity, and the approximate year, and I'll see if I can find your set. There was a period when I didn't label my icon folders with the recipient's name, so I need this information, or I won't reupload these icon sets. (I also made a lot of icons one year.) Understandably, someone paid for it, and I want to ensure I'm not getting played.

You are not bothering me by asking for your icons if you lose them! Please ask! I keep all my icon sets. (I need some info for identifying the icons because I did not label them with the requester's name back in the day, which… was certainly a bloody choice.)
